Nash County, NC - Obituary of Mamie Whitley Woodard, 1986

Mamie Whitley Woodard, 85, died Monday, February 10, 1986 in Wake County. 
Funeral services were held on Thursday, February 13 at 11am at Gold Valley 
Methodist Church. Burial followed in Spring Hope Memorial Gardens. 

She was pre-deceased by her husband George Ollie Woodard, a daughter Ruby 
Othell Woodard, and an infant son Joel Woodard. Surviving were five sons, 
George Vernon Woodard of Goldsboro, Joseph Raymond Woodard of Pinehurst, 
Carl Hassell Woodard of West Chester, Pa., Bruce Henry Woodard of Smithfield, 
and Ollie Clifton Woodard of Buda, Texas; two sisters Elma Puryear of 
Portsmouth, Va., and Eunice Washburn of Marion; two brothers, Dover Hinton 
of Wendell, and Valton Hinton of Garner; 12 grandchildren; and four great-
grandchildren. 

Funeral services were handled by Brown-Wynne Funeral Home in Zebulon.
