Clinch of Nash County and State of No Carolina being in Perfect mind & Sound memory but Coming to mind the mortality of my body do make & Ordain this my last will & Testament in manner & form following (to wit) my Soul I recommend into the hands of god that gave it me & as to my body I recommend to the grave to be buried in a Christian and decent manner, and as to my worldly estate I dispose of in manner and form following Inprimes I will that my Just debts & funeral Charges be paid. Item: I give & bequeath to my beloved son Edward Clinch one negro boy named Monday also one other boy named Isaac to him & his Heirs forever. Item, I give and bequeath to my beloved Son Duncan Lamon Clich [sic] one negro boy named Bob also one other boy named Allen to him and his heires for ever Item I give and bequeath to my beloved Son Joseph John Clinch one negro boy named Jim [?] also one other boy named Abraham to him and his heires for ever. Item I give and bequeath to my beloved Daughter Elizabeth Clinch one negro girl named Frank [sic] also one other girl named Morning they and their Increes to her & her heires for ever. Item I give and bequeath to my beloved Daughter Mary Clinch one negro girl named Alce also one other girl named Joan they and their Increes to her and her heires forever. Item my will and Desire is that the whole of my Lands may be equally Divided between my three Sons Edward Duncan Lamon and Joseph John to them and their heires forever, my will & desire is that all the remainder part of my Estate to remain In the hands of my Executors and to be disposed of by them as they think most proper to the Benefit of my five Children and the moneys arriseing their from to be equally Divided Between the whole of my Children, my will and Desire is that my Children may, they and their Estates remain under the Cear of my Executors untill my Children arrives to the age of Twenty One yeares or marryes. Item I do hereby Constitute and appoint my beloved friends William Bellemy & John Lamon Executors of this my last will and Testament and revoaking and Disannulling all former Wills and Testaments, by me heretofore made and do pronounce this and no other to be my Last Will and Testament.
