I Honour Joyner of Nash County and State of North Carolina being in perfect mind and sound memory but calling to mind the mortaiity of my body do make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner and form following to wit my soul I recomend unto the hands of God that gave it to me and and us to my body I recomend to the grave to be buried in a christian and decent manner and form to my worldly estate I dispose of in manner and form folllowing. Imprimis: I will that my just debts and funeral charges be paid. Item: I give and bequeath to my son Shady Joyner my land that my father give me lying below the fall branch of the river to him and his heirs forever. Item: I give and bequeath to my daughter Fereby McLendonl one feather bed and furniture to her and her heirs forever. Item: All the rest of my estate to be sold and equaly be divided amongst all my children. Item: I do hereby constitute and appoint my son Shady Joyner executor of this my last will and testament and revoking and disanulling all former wills and testaments by me heretofore made and do pronounce this and no other to be my last will and testament..
