NASH CO, NC WILL of LEWIS JOYNER - 1825 File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by Helen Sharpe Turn1104@aol.com WILL OF LEWIS JOYNER SON OF WILLIAM JOYNER 11 February 1825 North Carolina Nash County In the Name of god amen eye Lewis Joyner being sound in mind but not in Boddy do this the 11th Day of February 1825 make and publish this my last will and testament in manner following that is First eye give and bequeath to my beloved Daughters Marget Rachel Shanny Ginny Joyers two tracks of Land one lying on the north sisde of Tarriver called the Lewis track having due Regard to my Deeds and grants the other lying on the north side of the sappony Road Joyning Drewry Joiner and others having due regard to my Deeds and grants containing 74 acres and one other tract called the Marshel Land lying on the south side of the great branch containg 100 acres be the same more or less having due regard to my Deeds and Grants to them and their heirs forever. Item eye give and bequeath unto my beloved Son Stephen Joiner one track of land wher eye now live containing two hundred acres be the same more of less having Due regard to my Deeds and grants one still one horse of his own choice Also one cow and calf one bed and firniture to him and his heirs forever. Item eye give and bequeath to my beloved granson Lewis Daughtridge one fetherbed and firniture one cow and calf to him his life time and if he should die before he comes to the year of twenty one what eye have given to him shall be equally Divided between my four Daughters named in the will all the residue of my property in house and out doors to be equally Divided to all the heirs named in the will. and eye do hereby ordain my worthy son Moses Joiner executor to this my last will and testament in witness where of eye hereunto set my hand and seal the Day and year above written.
