First and foremost 1 reccomend my soul to Almighty God who gave it and my body to be decently buried by my executors hereafter to be mentioned in hopes of a joyful resurection of the same and as to what worldly goods it hath been pleased almighty God to bestow on me, I dispose of as followeth: To Wit) Item: I give and bequeath unto the lawful heirs of Elias REVEL, ten dollars. Item: I deduct out of what moneys I have paid for my son Jonnathan REVEL, one hundred dollars. Item: I lend unto my son Paul REVEL, during his natural life a certain tract or parcel of land beginning at Benj. Whitfields corner, a pine thence north to a red oak, thence east to Turkey Oak thence south to a pine near the head of Branch thence down the various courses of said branch to Daniels corner at two maples, thence straight a south course to a post oak in my old line, thence a— long said line to the first station and after the decease of my said son Paul, I give the said above mentioned tract or parcel of land unto my son Mathew REVEL. Item: I give and bequeath unto my daughter Edith REVEL a certain tract or parcel of land beginning at a branch at a black gum at Daniels corner running down said branch to the first fork, thence west to the next fork thence partly south near the head of a branch to a timber white oak thence partly south east to a persimmon tree in the field thence a straight course nearly east to a pine in my old line, thence north to a pine thence nearly north west to two maples thence up said branch to a black gum Daniels corner thence west to the first station. Item: I give and bequeath unto my daughter Celah MALONE a certain tract or parcel of land beginning at two maples in Edith REVEL’S line, thence down said branch to a pine to Daniels corner in Thorps line, thence South along said Thorpe line to a red oak thence a straight course west to a pine Edith REVEL’s corner, thence north to a pine, thence nearly Northwest to the first station to two maples. Item: I give and bequeath unto my daughter Faithful MALONE a certain tract or parcel of land beginning at a black gum and a pine in a pond thence vest to a white oak and a herary Drew HUNTER’s corner, thence nearly south vest to two post oaks and black oak Drew HUNTER’S other corner, thence west to a branch a corner ash and persimmon tree, thence up said branch to a timber whiteoak near the road, thence east to a maple in the branch thence up the various courses of south branch to the first station. Item: I give and bequeath unto my said son Mathew REVEL another certain tract or parcel of land beginning at a red oak on the vest side of Lassater’s branch Barnabas REVEL’s corner thence north to a corner ash in LASSTERS branch thence west to a red oak On the west side of Lassiters branch thence north to a red oak and a pine a corner thence east to the raod at a stake in the mouth of WHITFIELDS lane, thence south along said road to a branch a white oak a corner tree, thence along said branch to two black gums Barnabas REVEL’s corner, thence n.west to a cornet pine, thence west to a Turkey Oak thence southwest to a timber white oak on a branch thence down the various courses of said branch to a ash a corner thence west to the first station. Item: I give and bequeath unto my son Humphrey REVEL a the balance and residue of my land after the decease of my wife Dolly REVEL allowing her the necessary use of the same during her life or widowhood with— out her renting it out or cutting it down in an injurious manner to the said Humphrey also after he arrives to manly estate he shall have an equal share chance and privilege with his mother in said land and plantation in every respect during her life and after that he shall have the whole of above mentioned. Item: I give and bequeath unto said son Paul REVEL, one cow and yearling. Item: I give and bequeath unto my daughter Edith REVEL, one cow and yearling. Item: I give and bequeath unto my son Barnabus REVEL, one cow and yearling. Item: I give and bequeath unto my wife Dolly, my son Matthew and my son Humphrey the balance of my cattle, equally in division, Humphrey possessing his part at my decease. Item: I give my flock of sheep equally between my wife Dolly, my son Matthew and my son Humphrey. Item: I give and bequeath unto my son Mathew REVEL, one sow and six shoats. Item: I give and bequeath the balance of my hogs (equally divided) to my wife Dolly and my son Humphrey. Item: I give my old blaze mare to my wife Dolly. Item: I give my other three horses (equally divided) to my son Mathew, and Humphrey REVEL. Item: I give the half of ???other to my daughter Selah MALONE. Item: I give to my daughter Edith one bed and bed stead. Item: I give the balance of my bedding and furniture to my wife Dolly and my son Mathew and my son Humphrey REVEL (equally divided) Item: I give to my daughter Edith one bason and two plates, one small pot and hooks. Item: The balance of my kitchen furniture to be divided equally between my wife Dolly , my son Mathew and my son Humphrey REVEL. Item: I give and bequeath my carts and wheels to my wife Dolly, My son Mathew and my son Humphrey (equally divided) and my grine stone Item: I give and bequeath my crop of corn and fodder to my wife Dolly, my son Matthew and my son Humphrey REVEL equally divided. Item: I give and bequeath unto my son Mathew and my son Humphrey REVEL, my still and still tub equally divided. Item: I give and bequeath unto my son Mathew and My son Humphrey REVEL all my casks equally divided jugs, bottles, tumblers and decanters. Item: I give uüto my wife Dolly one chest and table. Item: I give unto my sons Mathew and Humphrey REVEL two trunks and two slates and two guns. Items: I give and bequeath unto my wife Dolly five gallons of Brandy and the residue of my brandy I give unto my sons Mathew and Humphrey REVEL equally divided. Item: I give and bequeath unto my wife Dolley all my spinning wheels and cards. Item: I give and bequeath unto my wife Dolley my son Mathew my son Humphrey REVEL all my tanned leather and raw hides in an equal division. Item: I give and bequeath unto my sons Matthew and Humphrey REVEL all my cash in hand and all money that are due me (first paying my just debts) then equally dividing the balance between them. Item: I give and bequeath one negro girl by the name of Vina unto the lawful heirs of my daughter Selah lawfully begotten of her body. Item: I give unto my daughter Faithful MALONE and her heirs one negro girl named China. Item: I give and bequeath unto my sons Mathew REVEL one negro boy named Benn. Item: I give and bequeath unto my son Humphrey REVEL one negro boy named Sam Item: I give unto my wife Dolley my son Mathew and my son Humphrey REVEL one negro girl named Pleasant equally divided. Lastly i do constitute and appoint my friends Redmun Bunn, Nathan Gilbert and Joseph Strickland my whole and sole exrs. of this my last will and testament revoking all wills heretofore by me made.
