FREDRICK WELLS

 In the Name of God amen November 16 One thousand seven 
hundred and Seventy Eight I Frederack Wells of Nash County
And State of North Carolina Being sick & weak of body but of
Perfect mind and sound memory calling to mind the mortality
of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once
to dy [die] do make and ordain this my last will and testament
In manner and form following to wit
Item.  I give and bequathe [bequeath] unto my Brother Joshua 
Wells my Legosey or part of land that my father gave me
Item.  I give unto my Brother Solomon all my parishable
Estate to him and his heirs for Ever
I do here by appoint Joseph Crowell Executor of this
My last will and Testament and revoking all former
Wills and Testaments hereto for made or ordain and do
publish and pronounce This as my last will and Testament
Signed Sealed and published & 
pronounced in the presents of} Fredrack X (his mark) Wells {Seal}
Johnna X (his mark) Robins
Barbary ^ (her mark) Pope
Nash County January Court 1779
The above Will was Exhibited in open Court and proved
by the Oath of John Robins as a binding witness thereto
which ordered to be recorded
