March 18, 1802 Written: February 18, 1802 Recorded: March 18, 1802 BANKRUPTSY In the Case of JOHN BARCLAY, Bankrupt Whereas, a Commission of Bankruptsy hath been issued against JOHN BARCLAY of Wilmington, merchant, under which he hath been declared a bankrupt. Public notice is therefore hereby given, that we subscribers, Commissioners of said Bankruptsy, will meet at the House of MR. BEAUFORT, on Thursday, the 17th and 25th of the present month, on Thursdays, the 4th, 11th, 18th and on Saturday, the 27th of March next, at ten o'clock each day, for the purpose of receiving the claims of the creditors of the said JOHN BARCLAY; of choosing an assignee or assignees, and also making such enquiries and examiniations as may be deemed requisite -- of which creditors and others who may be concerned are requested to take notice, and attend those meetings, if they think proper.
