STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA,   NEW HANOVER COUNTY
May Term, 1813

AARON LAZARUS

        VS.

JOSHUA HOWARD 

It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the defendant in this 
cause,  JOSHUA HOWARD, is not an resident of this State. It is therefore 
ordered by the Court that publication be made for three months in the 
Wilmington Gazette for the said DANIEL PICKET,  defendant, to appear at the  
next term of  said  Court to be held on the second Monday of August next, then 
and there to replevy or plead to his petition or judgment will be granted 
against him.
