                         ADMINISTRATOR'S NOTICE
   Notice is hereby given, that the Subscribers  at the June term of New 
Hanover County Court, obtained letters of administration on  the Estate of MR. 
MALCOLM MACKENZIE, late of Wilmington.  Those indebted  to said estate are 
requested to make payment immediately, and those having claims against said 
estate are notifed to present them duly authenticated within the time 
prescribed by law or this notice will be plead in bar of their recovery.
