STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA    COURT OF PLEAS & QUARTER SESSIONS   New Hanover 
County,
March Term, 1805

   Upon the petition of ANN QUINCE and JAMES WALKER SR., for the emancipation 
of a female slave named CHARLOTTE. Ordered, That the said CHARLOTTE be 
emancipated and set free from slavery, and that she hereafter bear and be 
known by the name of CHARLOTTE QUINCE.
