By Virtue of a Warrant and entry dated 26th day of January 1853. No. #1675 
Surveyed for Isaac ROCHELLE, 7th day of November 1854. Three hundred & sixty 
two acres of land in New Hanover county on the East side of North East River 
adjoining his own lands and others. 
Beginning at a Cypress Edge CANTEEN’S corner on Angola Creek running thence 
with said CANTEENS line N 50 W 90 poles to CANTEEN’S corner at an Elm, 
thence with said CANTEEN line S 40 W 90 to a pine CANTEEN’S corner thence 
with another line of said CANTEEN’S corner S 50 E 35 poles to Noah LANIER’S 
corner thence with LANIER’S, thence with LANIER’S line S 12 W 165 poles to a 
stake in said LANIER’S line. thence E 79 W 40 poles to a stake thence S 47 W 
44 poles o a stake in John JAMES’ line thence N 63 W 198 poles to a pine on 
the South side of Turkey Nest Ridge, thence N 76 W 92 poles to a stake 
thence N 14 E 20 poles to a pine thence S? 20 W 24 poles to a pine thence N 
30 E 247 poles to Angola Creek, thence down said Creek to the Beginning.
