Isaac ROCHELLE to Larkin LANIER both of New Hanover Co., NC-sale of 
livestock.
15 April 1842

State of North Carolina
New Hanover County

Know all men by these presents that I, Isaac ROCHELLE of the State and 
County aforesaid for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars 
to me in hand paid by Larkin LANIER of said county at a b- the sealing and 
delivery of these presents the receipt where of is hereby acknowledged his 
bargained and sold and do by these presents grant bargain sell and confirm 
unto the Larkin LANIER his executors administrators and assigns the 
following property viz: eleven head of cattle & thirty head of hogs, one 
horse, thirty four barrels of hard turpentine all and singular To have and 
to hold the said property above mentioned, I, Isaac ROCHELLE have put the 
said Larkin LANIER in full possession of the same by delivering of said 
cattle, horse, hogs and turpentine to the said Larkin LANIER. In witness of 
the same I have set here set unto set my hand and seal, April 15th, 1842.
