Amos ROCHELLE, & Anne ROCHELLE of New Hanover Co., NC to Isaac ROCHELLE of 
New Hanover Co., NC
28 May 1836

This Indenture made this 28th day of May in the year of our Lord one 
thousand Eight hundred & thirty six Between Amos ROCHELLE, Jr. and Anne 
ROCHELLE of the one part and Isaac ROCHELLE of the other part all of the 
State of North Carolina and county of New Hanover, Witnesseth that the said 
Amos ROCHELLE and Anne ROCHELLE for and in consideration of the sum of Two 
Hundred Dollars to them in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby 
acknowledged hath given granted bargained sold, set over and forever 
confirmed unto the said Isaac ROCHELLE his heirs and assigns, all heir right 
title and claim to all the lands, belonging to the Estate of Benjamin 
ROCHELLE, dec’d, said lands situated and lying in the County aforesaid in 
and joining the White Oak severity  to him the said Isaac ROCHELLE his heirs 
and assigns to have and to hold the above described lands and premises with 
all and singular the rights —— and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in 
anywise appertaining and we the said Amos ROCHELLE and Anne ROCHELLE do 
hereby warrant and forever defend the said Lands and premises to him the 
said Isaac ROCHELLE his heirs and assigns free and clear from the claims of 
us our heirs, executors administrators or assigns, and from and against the 
lawful claims of any person or persons whatsoever . In witness whereof we 
the said Amos ROCHELLE and Anne ROCHELLE have hereunto set out hands and 
seals day and date first written.
