Indenture made 16 Jun AD 1791 between Joshua Potts & Judith Potts his wife of the 
town of Wilmington NC of the one part and Peter Weaver of the said county and 
state for $1,535 land lying the the county and state aforesaid adjoining the 
north eastern side of the Roanoke River being the lower on the river of land 
yesterday sold John Reaves by the said Joshua, Poplar Branch, Spring Branch, 370 
acres.
