Sept. 16, 1806, Wilmington Gazette September 16, 1806 Whereas, SPENCER RIPLEY and JOHN KOEN, who call themselves citizens of North Carolina, have been impressed, and are now detained in the British Service, for the want of documents to prove their Citizenship, Their friends and relations are hereby notified, that upon their forwarding to this Office proofs of their Citizenship, properly authenticated from the County of their residence, accompanied by a particular description of their persons, measure will be taken to obtain their release.
