-- Mr. Morton’s new yacht is named the Vertner.  It consumes one gallon of oil 
an hour as fuel; is very fast, and is intended for use as a pleasure boat on 
the river.

George Lee Morton. At the time of this article, he was a few months shy of his 
20th birthday.
