Thursday, April 4, 1796, Wilmington Chronicle April 4, 1796

    CHARLES LA PLACE, watch-maker, after having left Wilmington, wrote to me 
requesting me to redeem a certain Gold Watch, the property of a person who had 
put it into his hands, in order to be repaired, but whose name he could not 
recollect: -- the owner thereof may have it by proving his property and paying 
expenses.
