Tues, July 2, 1805, Wilmington Gazette July 2, 1805

On the 28th ult., a duel took place on the South Carolina line between 
BRIGADIER GENERAL BENJ. SMITH and CAPT. MAURICE MOORE, in which GENERAL SMITH 
received a wound in his right side. On Saturday, he was brought to Wilmington, 
and we are happy to hear that hopes are entertained for his recovery.
