GAUTIER’S Company of Volunteers, in consequence of the melancholy intelligence of the death of GENERAL ALEXANDER HAMILITON, it was unanimously agreed that they were crape on their left arm for 30 days in order to evince their deep regret and to sympathize with their fellow citizens in the irreparable loss their country has sustained by the untimely death and unfortunate termination of the career of that virtuous Soldier and Statesman. GENERAL HAMILTON has left eight children, four sons and four daughters, the youngest an infant.
