The Wilmington Gazette   Wed., Dec. 9, 1802
   DIED, very suddenly on Tuesday morning between 3 or 4 o'clock of an 
inflammation in the throat, JOHN BURKE, ESQ, Deputy Collecter of this Port. At 
4 o'clock in the afternoon his remains were attended to the church-yard by the 
members of St. John's and St. Tammany's Lodges in procession, a number of 
transient gentlemen and a numberous assemblage of the inhabitants.
