Friday, May 23, 1817
DIED, on the 12th inst., DR. JAMES LAROQUE, aged 73. The deceased was a native 
of France, and for 30 years resided in Wilmington, universally respected and 
esteemed. His remains were interred on the 13th instant with Masonic honors; 
and a numberrous assemblage of the  brotherhood, and citizens of the town, 
paid the last tribute of sincere affliction to a valuable and venerable 
citizen.
