Beginning at the center of three pines by Richard PLAYER, Senr’s line in Savannah, thence running South sixty four degrees, east forty fie chains to a cypress by said Player Branch, thence South twenty six degrees, west thirty seven chains to a Stake, near Thomas MERRITS line thence along by said line north eighty seven, west forty five chain to a b— by said branch, thence up Richard PLAYER— old line to the first Station - which said land was taken up and patented by Richard PLAYER, Junr. which patent bearing date the twentieth day of April, one thousand seven hundred and fifty seven and also fifty acres more joining the above tract, it being part of a tract taken up and patented by Richard PLAYER, Senr. bearing date one thousand seven hundred and forty six, butted? and bounded as followeth, beginning on Thomas MERRICKS side line running the course of his line about three hundred yards, and thence running eastwardly and Southwardly to the said Richard PLAYERS line so as to complete the quantity of acres above mentioned to have and to hold the aforesaid land and premises with all and Singular the advantages house out houses woods ways waters and water courses, and with all and singular appurtenances to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining unto the said John ATKINSON his heirs and assigns forever to his an their only benefit forever - And I the said Lewis HINES for myself my heirs executors administrators and assigns do covenant promise and agree to and with the said John ATKINSON his heirs and assigns shall and may peaceably and quietly have hold occupy possess and enjoy the above bargained and sold premises with appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any ways appertaining free and clear of the lawful claim of any person or persons whatsoever.
