Additional Comments:
According to her obituary (Wilmington Morning Star of March 5th 1963, Page 
Twelve), she was the daughter of Robert Coleman Thompson, Jr. and Gerelda Kelly 
Thompson of Louisville, KY.

Note: In March of 2006 when I first visited her grave, her marker appeared to 
be a plain marker with only "M.G.T.Morton" appearing across the top of the 
marker.  When I returned in May of 2006, there had been a light rain, which had 
washed away some of the sand that had filled in the marker inscription. As I 
brushed away the sand, the above inscription became very readable.  Her son's, 
Geo. L. Morton, Jr., marker was also obscured by years of sand which had filled 
in the marker's inscription.
