This is the right face of the D.L. Russell, Sr. memorial.  The inscription 
reads, "OLIVIA GRIST WIFE OF D.L. RUSSELL BORN APRIL 6, 1826 DIED MARCH 11, 
1907. _"

Olivia Grist was the daughter of Allen Grist and Mary Ann Williams of 
Washington, NC.  After the death of his first wife, she married Daniel Lindsay 
Russell, Sr. in 1847.  He already had one son, Dan, Jr.  They had three 
children:  Thomas B., Mary Williams, and David S. Russell.  Mary Williams 
Russell married William James Harriss Bellamy of Wilmington, NC.
