Coker ==================================================================== The Harris cemetery is located 1 mile North of the Hwy 46 and U.S. 301 intersection in Garysburg, N.C. The cemetery lies between Highway 301 and the railroad, on the Westside of U.S. 301 and is visible from the highway. A large holly tree grows in the cemetery. Tombstones observed 2-28-2001 were: Sgt. Thomas I Sykes Co. "A' 3 BN NCLARTY CSA John Henry Harris Sr. b. June 7, 1867 d. Feb. 29, 1948 Viola Harris b. May 1, 1868 d. May 31, 1915 Marvin C. Haris b. May 1, 1868 d. May 31, 1915 Nathan B. Harris b. Dec 11, 1919 d. Feb 26, 1989 This cemetery was not grown up and had been maintained earlier.
