CEMETERY - NORTHAMPTON COUNTY NC VANN CEMETERY File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by "Gerald L. Byrd" VANN CEMETERY # 1 Location: On same Ashley's Grove Road, before one reaches the church, located on the left hand side in a field; it is enclosed with a wire fence. There are ten burials there; three unmarked. As one enters the cemetery directly to the left are the graves of William Henry Vann (d. 1933) Mary Vann (wife; d. 1919) Beside the grave of William Henry lie the small unmarked graves of two infants In the center of the cemetery the following graves are located: Jenkins Vann (homemade grave cover; name scratched in the top); no dates Temperance Davis Vann (wife; d. 1892) Jane Vann (daughter; died young; no dates) Just beyond the graves of Jenkins and Temperance are the graves of two children; grandchildren: William R.
