The Standard of Raleigh, Oct. 17, 1860
NORTH CAROLINA -- Northampton County -- Court of Pleas and Quarter Sessions, 
Sept. Term A.D. 1860 -- MOORE & WILLIAMS No. 56 vs. HIRAM L. BOWDEN, 
Attachment levied on land 
   In this case it appears to the satisfaction of the Court that the defendant 
is not a resident of this State. It is therefore ordered that publication be 
made in the North Carolina Standard, published in the town of Raleigh, for six 
weeks, for the said HIRAM L. BOWDEN to appear at our next Court of Pleas and 
Quarter Session to be held in Northampton County at the first  Monday of 
December next, then and there to replevy or plead, or judgment will be entered 
against him and the land levied upon be condemned to be sold to satisfy the 
plaintiff's debt and cost.
Witness ISAAC PEELE, Clerk of our said Court, at Office in Jackson, the first 
Monday of Sept. 1860.
