Northampton County, NC - Jesse Sikes, Dec'd - Division of Negroes, 1842 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Jesse Sikes - Division of Negroes Pursuant to the annexed order, we the undersigned have this day viewed valued and divided the negroes belonging to the Estate of Jesse Sikes decd. and have allotted to Britton Sikes negroes, Little Jim, Amey and child Anna who pays to the Estate the sum of Sixty Seven dollars and fifty cents and have allotted to James H. Sikes negroes Natt and Lemuel, who pays to said Estate the Sum of ninety two dollars & fifty cents, all of which is respectfully Submitted from under our hands & Seals this 10th day of March 1842.
