Northampton County, NC - Jacob Bunn to Hardy Lewter, 1790 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Know all men by these presents that I, Jacob Bunn, Planter of Northampton County in the state of North Carolina do hereby give and acknowledge unto my son-in-law Hardy Lewter, him and his heirs _____?____ & assign forever one certain tract of land containing two hundred acres be the same more or less lying & being in the county of Northampton on the North side of Cororoy Swamp and bounded as follows: Beginning at a gum in Cororoy Swamp then along a line of marked trees to the Caffin Branch, then up the said branch to a corner Pine then along line of marked trees to Searboys line then along the said Searboys line to a corner (corner of page torn off) then running the said Burnes line to a corner Pine in Davises line then running along Davises line to John Woods line & along John Woods line to a gum on the said Swamp then up the Swamp to the first station to have & to hold the said tract of land to him the said Hardy Lewter to him & his heirs forever with all the rights and privilages of hunting, fishing, and fowling with all other profits and commodies whatsoever to the said land belonging or any ways appertaining to him the said Hardy Lewter, his heirs, Adminstrators and Assignees forever in as large ample manner to all true intents & purposes as by the said deed granted by the right Honorable Lort Castor, Earl Granville, and the said Jacob Bunn do hereby oblige myself, my heirs, executors, administrators to warrent and defend the same land to him the said Hardy Lewter, his heirs forever.
