Northampton County, NC - William Bunn to Jacob Bunn, 1753 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Jacob Bunn was father-in-law of Hardy Luter; William Bunn was the father of Jacob Bunn. Know all men by these presents that I, William Bunn, Planter of Northampton County in the Province of North Carolina do freely give and acknowledge unto my son Jacob Bunn, his heirs, Executors, Adminstrators and Assingnees forever one certain tract of land containing three hundred acres lying and being in the county of Northampton on the North side of Corory Swamp and bounded as follows: Beginning at a certain gum on Corory Swamp running thence along the said swamp East 100 poles to a corner Sweet Gum on John Deberry's line then along DeBerry's line W. 30 poles to a corner pine then along another of DeBerry's lines fence W. 62 at 200 poles to a pine __?__ 126 poles to corner hickory in Robert Smelley's line then along Smelley's line W 45 __?__ 160 to the center of a pine and two white oaks then left 320 poles to a corner pine in Nathan Stancels line then along the said line for 100 poles to a corner pine then F. 20 58 poles to a corner pine in said bunn old line then along said line to the beginning 658 acres. To have and to hold the said tract of land to him the said Jacob Bunn, his heirs forever with all rights and privaliages of hunting, fishing, and fowling with all other profits and commodities whatsoever to the said land belonging or in any wise appertaining to him the said Jacob Bunn, his heirs, Executors, Adminstrators and Assignees forever in as large ample manner to all true interests and purposes by a deed granted by the right and honorable Lort Careret, Earl of Granville, , I, the Wm. Bunn, do hereby oblidge myself, my heirs, Executors, and Administrators, to warrant and defend the said land to him the said Jacob Bunn and his heirs forever.
