3 May 1751 -- JOHN LONG of Surry County, Va., planter, to FRANCIS HUTCHENS of 
Surry Co., Va., carpenter, for 30 pounds Va. money, 50 acres on south side of 
Maherin River joining the Cypress Swamp and the old County line, part of a 
patent granted to THOMAS TURNER in 1720. Feb. Court 1752
