   27 Feb. 1749 -- MATTHEW and ELIZABETH THOMAS to PHILLIP WINBOURNE, of the 
Colony of Virginia, 50 pounds, for 337 acres joining HENRY SIMS and JOSEPH 
LANE, as by patent to PHILLIP THOMAS, dec'd father of said MATTHEW. Witness: 
WILLIAM WINBOURNE and THOMAS CREW.
