Williamson, dt/o Richard Williamson, decd. (Southampton Co. M.Reg. 1750-1853, pp. 238, 406) Collin W. Barnes appears in the [2 Oct] 1850 Census, a farmer, age 67, b. VA, with [wife] Louisa, 55, b. VA, [sons] Joseph B., 13, & George B., 11, both b. NC, and 5 boarders: teacher Benjamin S. Bronson, 22, b. ME, student John W. Harrell, 18, & 3 others boys, 11-15, all b. VA.
