Mr. Cooper. Mr. Bolton was one of Rich Square’s most prominent citizens. He was the only brother of J.R. Bolton of Branchville. There was a large attendance of relatives and friends. The casket was covered with a pall of white lilies and there were many beautiful floral tributes to show the esteem in which he was held. Pallbearers were the deacons of the church. Honorary pallbearers were the officers of Northampton County. Interment was made in the church cemetery.
