MILDRED ODOM BRADSHAW

   Mrs. Mildred Odom Bradshaw, 19, of 2204 Indian River Road, Norfolk, died in a 
Norfolk hospital at 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 6, within 24 hours of the 
death of her infant son.

   A native of Rich Square, N.C., Mrs. Bradshaw was the daughter of Charles Lord 
Odom and Mrs. Mary Bennett Odom. She had resided in the Norfolk area for the 
past eight years.

   In addition to her husband, Elisha Bradshaw, Jr., and her parents she is 
survived by three brothers, Charles T. Odom and Henry Sheldon Odom of N.C. State 
College, Raleigh, and James Linwood Odom of the University of Virginia; and one 
sister, Miss Marilyn B. Odom of Norfolk, a student in Maury High School.

   The infant is survived by his father and maternal grandparents. His body was 
taken from the hospital to the Sykes Funeral Home in Berkley, and funeral 
services were conducted at the grave in Riverside Memorial Park on Saturday 
afternoon at one o’clock.

   Funeral services for Mrs. Bradshaw were conducted Sunday afternoon at two 
o’clock from the Sykes Funeral Home by Rev. James L. White, Jr., pastor of the 
Campsotella Heights Baptist Church. Burial was in Riverside Memorial Park.

   Elisha Bradshaw, Jr., husband of Mrs. Mildred Odom Bradshaw is a brother of 
Samuel Bradshaw of Franklin.
