Maudrey Jane Mann Futrell

Born: January 20, 1917
Died: December 28, 2014

   Franklin- Maudrey Jane Mann Futrell, 97, passed away December 28, 2014 at the 
East Pavilion. Mrs. Futrell was a native of Pendleton, NC and was a daughter of 
the late Arland and Velesta Mann and was also preceded in death by her husband 
Willie Saunders Futrell. She was also predeceased by two brothers and two 
sisters, Raymond and J.B. Mann and Margaret Futrell and Dorothy McCauley. 
   Mrs. Futrell was retired from St. Regis Paper Company after 39 years of 
service and was a member of Severn Baptist Church. 
   Left to cherish her memory are one son, Michael “Mickey” Futrell and wife Pat 
of Franklin, one sister, Betty M. Wing (Warren) of Murrells Inlet, SC, one 
brother, Randolph “Dick” Mann (Dot) of Kitty Hawk, NC, five step-grandchildren, 
Jesse, Todd (Patricia), Jeff (Wendy), John (Trina), Summer ( Russ), eight great-
grandchildren, Ashleigh, Matthew, Lauren, Claudia, Jacob, Davis, Ethan and John. 
   A Memorial service will be held 2PM Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at Severn 
Baptist Church, Severn, NC with the Rev. Mark Corbett officiating. 
   The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church 
and suggests that memorial donations be made to Severn Baptist Church Memorial 
Fund, P.O. Box 502, 305 Main Street, Severn, NC 27877-0502. The family would like 
to thank Dr. Ponder and Judy, the SMH staff and caregivers of the East Pavilion
