She was the daughter of the late Henry D. and Rosa Barrett White, and the widow of the late Samuel J. Glover. She was a member of the Barnes’ M.E. Church. The funeral services, which was held from the Purviance Funeral Home on Tuesday at three o’clock, was conducted by the pastor of Barnes’ Church, Rev. John W. Morrison, assisted by Rev. O.L. Hardwick, pastor of the Jackson Methodist Church, and Rev. J.B. Dailey, pastor of the Jackson Baptist Church. The joint choirs rendered the following hymns: “God Will Take Care of You,” “The Old Rugged Cross,” and “Abide With Me.” Surviving are one son, T.J. Glover of Suffolk, Va., and Jackson, N.C.; three sisters, Mrs. Maggie V. Hill of Murfreesboro, N.C., Mrs. B.D. Garris of Chase City, and Mrs. Mary Brett, Carrsville; and a number of nieces and nephews. The active pallbearers were Dr. J.M. Bland, W.H. Powell, Sr., J.M. Britt, J.D. Edwards, C.M. Edwards, R.E. Barrett and W.F. McKinstry. The interment was in Beechwood Cemetery.
