J.L. HARRELL

   News was received by relatives in Boykins of the death of J.L. Harrell of 
Flomaton, Ala.  Mr. Harrell was born in Northampton County, N.C., 91 years ago. 
He lived in Murfreesboro, N.C., for many years and was a popular merchant.

   He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lee Hall Harrell of Flomaton; one son, 
Cornelius H. Harrell of Montgomery, Ala.; three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. 
Alice Hill of Boykins, and Mrs. G.H.P. Cole, of Washington; besides a number of 
nieces and nephews.
