SARAH ASKEW STORY

   HANDSOM – A funeral service for Mrs. Sarah Askew Story was conducted at 2 
p.m. Wednesday in W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral Home by the Rev. Harry Bunch. 
Burial was in Mt. Horeb Church Cemetery.

   Pallbearers were Roger W. Drake, James A. McClenny, Ray Melton, Roy Drake, 
Randolph Denson, Garland Duck, J.C. Johnson and Vernon Beacham.

   Mrs. Story, 73, died Monday in Southampton Memorial Hospital.

   A native of Northampton County, she was the wife of Cleveland Story and a 
daughter of Charles and Mrs. Harriett Askew. She was a member of Mt. Horeb 
Methodist Church.

   In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Wilson Story of 
Handsom and Lloyd Story of Franklin; three grandchildren and a great grandchild.
