THOMAS EDWARD WOODARD, SR.
March 09, 1948 - November 28, 2021

Suffolk - Thomas Edward Woodard, Sr., 73, passed away November 28, 2021 in his 
home. Born in Conway, NC on March 9, 1948, he was a son of the late Roger and 
Mildred Martin Woodard. He was also predeceased by a sister, Doris Early, and 
two brothers, Buck Woodard and Joe Woodard.
Thomas was a log truck driver and a member of South Quay Baptist Church.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Carolyn Barden Woodard; a daughter, 
Penny Caroline Powell and her husband Chris; a son, Thomas Edward Woodard, Jr.; 
a sister, Elizabeth Cale; a brother Ben Woodard and his wife Nancy; and two 
grandchildren, Travis and Grace.
A Private Graveside Service will be held at Southampton Memorial Park with 
Pastor Richard Baird officiating. The family suggests that memorial donations be 
made to South Quay Baptist Church.
