CONWELL’s Will I William Conwell do make and ordain this my last will and testament as follows. I lend my wife Mary E. Conwell, My present residence with the out buildings with five acres of land around them during her life. I give My wife all of My household and kitchen furniture & the last fat stand I bought I give My wife with the lard in it. I also give My wife her bread corn or meal out of my mill. My mill annually also three hundred pounds of fat prok each year during her life. I give My wife half of the hogs at the mill. I give and bequeath to My Two Sons James and Francis Conwell My Mill and fourteen Acres of land More or less attached to it and I give My son James Conwell fifty acres of land where he now lives with its ( )& ( ) also the horse he has now in his possession, also a yoke of steers, I give him half of the hogs at the mill, and I give My two sons George and Francis Conwell, all of the remainder of my land including the two acres lent My wife except two Acres which I give to My Son Francis Conwell situated at the pines at the East end of my land known as the Roberts land. I also give him a yoke of steers and a horse which is now in his possession. I give my two grand sons James and Thomas Conwell a heifer a piece and my grandson Jesse Levy Conwell a sow shoat and My grand Daughter Addie Daniel five dollars. I also give My Daughter Sarah Conwell the sum of five dollars and I give My Two daughters Robirda Smith and ( ) Elizabeth Roper five head of cattle of equal value apiece and the remainder of my cattle I give equally to my wife and my sons James Conwell and Francis Conwell and finally I appoint and constitute my son James Conwell My executor to this my Last will and testament In witness whereof I ( _ _) my hand and Seal this the thirteenth day of January eighteen hundred and Eighty.
