NORTHAMPTON COUNTY, NC - WILLS - Rebecka Deloatch, 8 Jun 1840 ----¤¤¤¤---- In the name of God, Amen. I, Rebecka F. Deloatch, being weak in Body of sound of mind and memory, thanks be to God for the same, and calling to mind the mortality of my body and knowing it is appointed for all men to die, do make and ordain This my last will and testament, the 8th day of June in the year of Our Lord one thousand eight hundered and forty. Then in form and manner following; viz Item 1st. I give and bequeath unto my son Wm. J. Deloatch my Brandy Still, also one walnut table to him and his heirs forever. Item 2nd. I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Martha Ann Deloatch one Curtin Bedstead bed and furniture, one green chest to her and her heirs forever. Item 3rd. My will and desire is that after paying all of my just debts that the balance of the estate shall be equally Divided between my sons Wm. J. Deloatch, Augustus R. Deloatch, Henry W. Deloatch, my daughter Martha Ann Deloatch and my son Maddeson E. Deloatch all to shear and shear alike. I make and ordain my beloved brother Eton W. Edwards my executor to this my last will and testament in witness whereof I have here unto set my hand and seal the day year above written.
