NORTHAMPTON COUNTY, NC - WILLS - Nancy DeLoach, 11 Nov 1837

In the name of God, Amen.  I Nancy Deloach of Northampton County and State of
North Carolina being in my perfect senses, thanks be to God for the same, do
make and ordain this my last will and testament in the following manner and
form---

Item the first.  I give and bequeath to my beloved niece Harriet A. Boon one
negro girl known by the name of Mary - to her and her heirs forever.

Item the second.  I give and bequeath to my beloved niece Mary Boon, daughter
of Levina Boon, one negro boy known by the name of Burrel - to her and her
heirs forever.

Item the 3rd.  I give and bequeath to my beloved niece Anna Boon one negro
girl known by the name of Siah, and her heirs forever.

Item the 4th.  I give and bequeath to my beloved nephew Henry Boon one negro
girl known by the name of Fillis, to him and his heirs forever.

Item the 5th.  I give my negro man Peter into the hands of my nephew Henry
Boon to sell, and after he pays all my just-debts, to divide the remainder of
the money between my beloved sisters, namely, Winifree Boon and Levina Boon
and their heirs forever.  Also, I give seventeen head of hogs and one loom and
gears into the hands of my beloved nephew Henry Boon to sell and divide the
money equally between my two sisters Winifred Boon and Levina Boon and their
heirs forever.  And I Nancy Deloach do acknowledge this to be my last will and
testament, this the 11th day of November A.D. 1837.  Signed, sealed and
acknowledge in the presence of Jas. T. Flyght

Note:  Nancy DeLoach leaves a valuable estate to her sistrs and their
children.  She is apparently not married at the time of the will, nor does she
have children of her own.  It is not known if her maiden name was DeLoach, and
she inherited the estate from parents, or if she married a DeLoach male and
inherited the property.
