I, Drury Gee, of the county of Northampton & State of North Carolina being in a low state of health but of sound mind & memory do make & ordain this my last will & testament in manner & form following: Imprimis: After the payment of my just debts I give unto my beloved wife Mary Gee my old horse & side saddle one bed & furniture & her choice of my three mares & my watch to her, her heirs & asisgns forever. Item: I lend unto my beloved wife Mary Gee during her life the plantation & houses where I live on the South West side of Low Meadow, bounded by said meadow & the lands of my old patent? called Clark. I also lend her during her life thirty acres of land lying on the low ground of Roanoke, beginning on the River at my upper corner & running the same distance on the upper line as on the River for the complement of thirty acres in a square with lumber to take from off the rest of my lands such lumber as necessary for the repairs of the house & fences on her part of the lands she committing no waste, I also lend to my wife during life two negroes to wit Abraham & Bess. Item I give & bequeath to my son James Tillar Gee all my lands in the county of Northampton & one negroe fellow named Tull to him his heirs & assigns forever. Item: I give & bequeath to my daughter Boyce Dupree the following slaves to wit: Peter, Ned, Jack, Nutty, also Abraham & Bess after the decease of my wife to her, her heirs & assisgns forever. Item: My will & desire is that my Executor hereafter named sell the remainder of my personal estate at their discretion & apply the money arising from the sale to the payment of my debts. Item: I give & bequeath to Jesse Dupree my right on the lease I have of the mill & lands belonging to Allen Jones, he fulfilling my agreements with the said Jones for the said lease, to him his heirs & assigns forever. Item: In case the parblack? should recover any sum of money from my Executors lein or security on account of my conduct in the office of Sheraff, my will & desire is that two thirds of such sum be paid by my son James Tillar out of the estate here in bequeathed him & the other third out of the Estate herein bequeathed to my daughter Boyce Dupree. Item: I hereby constitute & appoint my son, James Tillar Gee & my son in law Jesse Dupress Executors of this my last will & testament hereby revoking & disannulling all other wills whatever.
