Northampton County, NC - Wills - Hollowell, Absalom-1795 File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by Vikki Highfield To all to whom these presents may come or may be concerned with Know Ye that I ABSALOM HOLLOWELL of Northampton County and State of North Carolina am vested in full right and possessed with a considerable estate which for the love and goodwil I have towards my two children ELIZABETH HOLLOWELL and SAML. HOLLOWELL have proportioned to them in the following manner viz. It is my will and desire that my Daughter ELIZABETH HOLLOWELL may have one of my feather beds & furniture 1 wooling wheel one box Iron & heator two setting Chairs one pine Chest to her only use and benefit & her heirs forever. It is my will and desire that my Son SAMUEL HOLLOWELL may have two feather beds and furniture all my Hogs and Cattle one Desk two Tables two trunks four Chairs and all the remainder part of my household goods and kitchen furniture Cyder Casks and plantation utensils and all and every thing of the remaining part of my property to him and his Heirs forever.
