Haynes CC In the name of God Amen I, Steward Pipkin of the County of Northampton and the State of North Carolina being sick and weak in body but in perfect sound senses and disposing memory of mind thanks be to almighty God for the same do make and ordain this to be my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, Imprimis, I recommend my soul in the hands of almighty God that gave it me relying on the meritorious blood of my blessed Saviour to have full redemption of all my sins and my body to the earth to be buried in a Christian like manner at the discretion of my Executors hereafter named and as to what worldly estate it hath pleased God to bless me with I give and dispose of the same in manner and form following... Item, my will and desire is that all my just debts be paid together with my funeral expenses to be discharged by my Executors. Item, I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Tabitha Pipkin all and singular of my estate, both real and personal, consisting of lands and slaves, stock of every kind, household and kitchen furniture, plantation, estate, all be to her and her disposal forever. And I do hereby constitute and appoint my trusty friends Lemuel Lawrence and John Dickinson my whole and soul Executors of this my last Will and Testament.
