Will of WILLIAM WILLSON Northampton County

In the Name of God Amen

I William Willson of Northampton County in the Province of North Carolina 
being sick and weak in body but of perfect memory Do make this my last will 
and Testament.

First I recommend my Soul into the hand of Almighty God my Creator, and my 
body I commit to the earth to be decently inter'd and as touching my worldly 
Estate I give and Dispose of the same in the following manner.

First I will and desire that all my Just debts may be fully discharged and 
satisfyed. 

Item I give and bequeath unto my son JOHN WILLSON one Negro Woman called NAN 
and one iron pott, one horse Shingor;

Item I give and bequeath unto my son ISAAC WILLSON and his heirs for ever my 
plantation tract of land n the South side of Tarr River and one negro man 
named TOM one still and worm, one large Iron pott one feather Bed and furniture, 
one chest of drawers, one chest, one horse Robin;

Item I give and bequeath unto my Daughter KATHERINE WILLSON one bed and 
furniture one negro Boy named JACOB one wallnut oval table; one mare fanny, 
one chest.

Item I give and bequeath unto my Daughter ELINOR WILLSON one bed and furniture 
one negro Boy named FRANK one Coppor kettle one inlaid oval table; one chest;

Item I give and bequeath unto my daughter MARY WILLSON one bed and furniture 
one Negro man named JACK one oval table to go finished.

Item I give and bequeath unto my loving Wife JUDITH WILLSON one bed and 
furniture one square table one Chest, one horse Ball.

Item I give and bequeath unto my daughter CHARITY WILLSON one Negro man named 
PETER and reserving unto my wife Judith the use of the said Negro Peter during 
her life.

Item I give and bequeath unto my Son ELISHA MOORE WILLSON one shilling ____ money.

Item I give and bequeath unto my Daughter ANNE WILLSON one Negro man named POMPEY.

Item It is my Will and Desire that all of the remainder of my personal Estate of 
whatever kind may be equally Divided between my loving wife Judith Willson and 
my seven children named JOHN, KATHERINE, ISAAC, ELINOR, MARY, CHARITY and ANNE..

I do hereby nominate and appoint my trusty friend JOHN EDWARDS of N Hampton County
my only executor of this my will signed with my own hand and sealed with my seal 
this first day of January in the year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and 
forty five in presence of us. ABM. HOOD Jurat, JOHN GOODALL, MICHALE TURNER,

Item I give and bequeath unto my daughter Charity Willson one Negro man named 
Peter and reserving unto my wife Judith the use of the said Negro Peter during 
her life.

Item I give and bequeath unto my Son Elijah Moore Willson one shilling ____ money.

Item I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Anne Willson one Negro man named Pompey.

Item It is my Will and Desire that all of the remainder of my personal Estate of 
whatever kind may be equally Divided between my loving wife Judith Willson and my 
seven children named John, Katherine, Isaac, Elinor, Mary, Charity and Anne..

I do hereby nominate and appoint my trusty friend John Edwards of N Hampton County 
my only executor of this my will signed with my own hand and sealed with my seal 
this first day of January in the year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and 
forty five in presence of us. Abm. Hood, Jurat, John Goodall, Michale Turner,
