Susan Henderson's Years Provision 1851

State of North Carolina Onslow County

    Yoo the worshipful the Justice of the Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions
of said County, March Term 1851.  We David Marshall Justice of the Peace of
said County and Aretus Summersill & Bryan Kellum forward in obedience to the
annexed order provided on the 30th day of Dec. 1850 to view thr estate of
Josiah Henderson deceased and out of the Crop, Stock and Provisions on hand,
we have laid off and alloted to Susan Henderson widow as follows that is to
say

25  Barrels Corn @ 50/-                    $125.00
1800 lbs Pork  @50/- per hundred             90.00
2 Barrels Flour @70/-                        14.00
5 Bushels Salt @ 4/-                          2.00
75 lbs Coffee  @ 11//-       `               11.25
100 lbs Sugar  @ 1/-                         10.00
10 Gal  Maple    @  4/-                       4.00
5 do                @  4/-                    2.50
5 do   Vinigar  @  4/-                        4.00
2  lbs Pepper  @ ______                        .80
1 Cow & Calf $10--                           10.00
Cash                $25.00                  $25.00

And then being not sufficient of the Crop Stock and Provisions on hand to
make a comfortable provision for the said widow and family for a year we
access the deficiency to the sum of Twenty Five Dollars as stated above, to
be paid  to the said widow by the Adm, of the said Josiah Henderson
deceased, and we having further laid off and alloted to the said Susan
Henderson One Bed and its accompanying furniture and one wheel & card, as
her absolute property and put her in posession of the same.

    Given under hand and seal this Dec. 30th AD. 1850
