Years Provisions For Serena Henderson Widow 1843

State of North Carolina, Onslow County, August Term 1843

To the worshipful the Justices of the Peace of the Court of Pleas
Quarter Sessions for the County of Onslow.  The petition of Serena
Henderson widow of Stephen Henderson late of Onslow County
respectfully sheweth unto your worships that said Stephen Henderson
has died intestate since the last term of this Court and that in how
Thomas Henderson has duly administered on said estate at the request
herein widow has a years provisions of the said estate of her said
husband and a desire to have the person allot and set apart to her 
in case there be insufficient provisions or cash to have the person
__________? according to the act in such cases povided for the each 
and same be done widow prays that a commitie be appointed according 
to law to make such allotment herein return make, the the farm be
ajoined & decreed for her and that the said Thomas Henderson admin
be notified by proper notice to appear and ________? if any be why
her prays be not granted & for such other & further releif due her 
in duty bound

set apart to Serena Henderson widow of Stephen Henderson her
years provisions out of the personal estate of her said deceased
husband as follows:

One thousand pounds of bacon		  6.00
Forty eight pounds of coffee		  3.00
Thirty pounds sugar			  1.50
Five gallons molasis			  2.00
One cow & calf				  5.00
One bed & furniture
Necessaries				 42.50
				        _______
					$200.00

	Given under our hands & seals this the 4th day of
September A.D. 1843
