You and each of you swear that you will well and truly try all issues in all 
civil actions which shall come before you during this term and true verdicts 
give according to the evidence thereon;  so help you God.


Oath of Witness in Civil Causes

You swear that the evidence that you shall give to the court and jury in this 
cause now on trial wherein ___________ is plaintiff and ____________ is 
defendant shall be the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, so 
help you God.


Empandling (sp) Jury

Gentlemen of the Jury you have been sworn and now empandled (sp) to try the 
issues between _______________ and ______________ sit together, hear the 
evidence and true verdict render therein.
